NR
switch
This
switch
is
used
to
select
whether
the
Dolby”
NR
system
is
applied
to
playback.
This
system
provides
a
high
S/N
ratio
and
improves
sound
quality.
ON:
plays
back
the
sound
with
the
Dolby
NR
system.
OFF:
plays
back
the
sound
without
the
Dolby
NR
system.
Note

Be
sure
to
make
the
same
selection
when
recording
and
playing
back.
If
the
DOLBY
NR
switch
is
set
to
OFF
when
the
player
is
playing
back
a
signal
recorded
with
the
Dolby
NR
system,
high
sound
levels
may
be
emphasized.

OUT
SELECT
switch
This
switch
is
used
to
select
the
audio
signal
to
be
output
from
the
AUDIO
OUT
NORM/Hi-Fi
connectors
on
the
rear
panel.
HiFi:
outputs
a
hi-fi
recording
signal.
NORM:
outputs
a
normal
recording
signal.
The
hi-fi
recording
signal
is
output
from
the
AUDIO
OUT
Hi-Fi
connector,
regardless
of
how
this
switch
is
set.
