To change the operation mode of the player, use the menu as follows.

Set the CTL/MENU switch to MENU.
The items which can be set appear on the time counter block.
Press the ITEM button to select the item to be set.
Press the DATA button to set the data for the selected item.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.

Set the CTL/MENU switch to CTL.
The data specified in steps 2 and 3 is set.
If you set menu operation and turn off the power within 15 seconds of the power
being turned on, however, the newly registered data will be lost.
