NR

MPX
FILTER
button

“FILTER”

appears).

MPX
filter
eliminates
remnants
of
the
19-kHz
stereo
carrier
and
38-kHz
subcarrier
signals
which
may
impair
the
operation
of
the
DOLBY
NR
system.
Be
sure
that
the
Dolby
NR
switch
is
turned
on
since
the
MPxX
filter
will
not
function
otherwise.
During
recording
with
the
Dolby
NR
system,
use

this
switch
only
if
the
tuner
is
not
equipped
with
its
own
MPX
|
filter
or
the
equipped
filter
does
not
function
effectively.
