  If your Sony Monitor picture flickers, bounces, oscillates, or is scrambled, try to isolate and eliminate any potential sources of electric or magnetic fields such as other monitors, laser printers, electric fans, fluorescent lighting, or televisions. You can also try moving the monitor away from power lines or placing a magnetic shield near it. Plugging the monitor into a different AC outlet on a different circuit might also help. As a last resort, try turning the monitor 90° to the left or right.
