  If your Sony TV has good picture but no sound, check your Audio settings to ensure the TV isn't set to Auto SAP in the MTS feature. Press the mute button to ensure muting is off. Make sure the speaker option is set to On in the Audio Menu, and adjust the TV's volume.

  If your Sony TV has no picture and no sound, ensure the power cord is properly plugged in. If a red light flashes on the front of the TV for several minutes, try disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord. Also, verify the TV/VIDEO setting; it should be set to TV when watching TV and to VIDEO 1, 2, 3, or 4 when watching video from another device. Finally, try tuning to another channel to rule out any issues with the broadcast station.
