3B. Regular Checkup List
The burner has a rotating part and needs to be checked regularly.
If a strange noise is heard when the motor starts, the bearing is faulty and shall be replaced.
If foreign matter enters the air pressure switch connection hose, the pressure cannot be delivered well. Thus, it shall be checked before
operation when it is used after a long time.
If there is a large amount of foreign matter in the gas filter, the gas flow decreases and energy efficiency decreases. Check the pressure
regularly and if necessary, clean it.
If burner is stopped for a long time, apply grease to the linkage device for smooth rotation.
Caution
Power off before inspection.
If the burner is operated in a dirty and unfavorable environment, it shall be inspected monthly.
- Remove the burner head.
- Clean the electrode and insulator cover.
- Remove the flame detector and clean it.
- Disconnect the flexible hose.
- Check for dirt or loose parts.
- Check the motor & fan wheel.
- Make sure the fuse meets the requirements.
Caution
Only the qualified professional can verify the followings.
- Purging combustion chamber before starting the burner after maintenance.
- Start and stop the burner in accordance with the operating instructions.
- Turn off the power when checking the circuit, tightening or loosening the terminal.
- Check the safety of the circuit such as the flame monitoring circuit.
- (If necessary,) replace the flame detector annually. Regular cleaning and adjustment will increase the life of the burner.
