The audio control panel appears as shown in the following figure.
The audio mixer gives control of the sound inputs of all audio
devices. You can adjust the internal volume and balance of each
individual audio device. Also, this audio mixer lets you apply ave
sound effects.
Important: The [Playback] volume controls the master
output sound volume of your system. Depending on the
speaker you use you will need to adjust both the volume
control on the speaker itself and the audio volume control
menu under Windows 95/98 to get the proper sound output.
