Electromagnetic Compatibility
Portable and mobile RF communications such (i.e. mobile phones, walkie
talkies, wireless devices) can impact the functionality of the Spectra S1. We
recommend keeping these devices 1 meter away from the Spectra S1 while
in operation. Do not use adjacent or stacked with any other electronic
equipment.
IEC 60601-1-2:2007
This Spectra S1 has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
medical devices in IEC 60601-1-2:2007. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a typical medical
installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy and may cause interference to other devices in the vicinity.
Interference can be determined by turning the equipment on and back off
again. Interference can be remedied by ensuring the Spectra S1 is at least 1
meter away from other radio emitting devices, by reorienting the pump, or
by connecting the pump to an electrical outlet not shared by other devices.
