18. Firmly push locking clip toward back of library to secure TAP assembly
If unable to seat locking clip, verify entire TAP assembly is flush with chassis
19. Orient TAP door mounting panel with door to left. Slot in panel fits over
alignment pin in chassis
20. Guide sensor cable connector through cutout in left side of door mounting panel
21. Rotate left side of door mounting panel until it is flush against chassis
Verify door latch and release piston fit into cutouts on door frame, piston
moves freely
22. Tighten four captive screws to secure door mounting panel to chassis
23. Inside the TAP, insert coupler stud through lever arm and into PEM nut on TAP
assembly
24. Close TAP door and listen for an audible click to indicate latch has engaged
25. Route sensor cable under gear assembly and reconnect to chassis
26. Reinstall library front panel by inserting alignment pin at top of front panel into
chassis and pivot panel downward. Check that LCD display is centered in panel
cutout, then tighten two captive screws at bottom of front panel
27. Reinstall filter cover by positioning tabs on back of cover into slots in front panel.
Slide cover downward, push upper edge of filter cover towards library until
magnets secure it to front panel
28. Plug in library power cords and switch circuit breakers to on position. Power on
library
29. Login in as superuser or administrator and run the following diagnostic
Maintenance > Diagnostics > All Motion Basic Tests then click Run Utility
30. When testing has completed, the Diagnostic Results screen displays “Success” or
“Failed” for each test
If any test fails double check your work
Re-run utility after corrective action has been taken
If test continues to fail - contact Spectra Technical Support
31. Create an Auto-support Log File (ASL) and forward to Spectra Technical Support
Obtain permission from customer prior to performing this step
