About This Guide
This guide describes site preparation requirements and guidelines for the
installation of a Spectra
®
T950 library. Unless otherwise specified, the
requirements for both T950 and T950B libraries are the same and “T950” is
used to refer to both.
This guide includes precautions for safety and handling, as well as facility
requirements for the library’s environment, cabling, and placement. It also
provides a checklist that you can use to help ensure that your site is
prepared before your library arrives.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This guide is intended for data center administrators preparing a site for a
T950 library installation. It provides reference information for facility
managers, electricians, IT professionals, and other specialists who will
have roles in preparing the site.
