OPERATION
When only 1 green light gleams, the
battery needs to be recharged.
STANDBY MODE
Your Sparc system has an energy
saving feature.
Approximately 1 minute after you
stop using the system it will auto-
matically switch off and the lights
on the control unit will go out.
When you continue, the electronic
system will automatically come on
again.
5-GEARSHIFTING
A 5-gear hub shift is integra-
ted into the Sparc system. You shift
gears by turning the right twist-grip
on the handlebars through positions
1 to 5.
» Whilst shifting gear continue
pedalling without exerting force.
» If the desired gear does not
engage immediately, briefly stop
pedalling.
» When approaching inclines shift
down in good time.
» You can also shift gears when the
bike has stopped.
3
Your Sparc bicycle is not for
children!
» Only switch on the Sparc system
when you want to travel on your
bicycle.
» Always switch off the Sparc
system before you stand your
bicycle upside down or hang it up,
also before you carry out cleaning
or maintenance work.
