OPERATION
The bicycle can be ridden with or
without the help of the electric
drive. Riding without the help of your
Sparc is like riding any ordinary bike
and requires no extra effort.
When the system is switched on,
you start off as usual. The electric
drive actively supports you whilst
you pedal.
» ECON mode works up to a speed of
approx. 20 km/h (US version 16 mph).
» SPEED mode works up to a speed of
approx. 25 km/h (US version 20 mph).
Once these speeds are reached, the
electric drive switches off and you
continue under your own muscle
power. Reducing speed causes the
system to come on again.
Please charge the battery
before your first trip.
Set the mode required, ECON
or SPEED. The system only
becomes active once the bicycle
moves.
In SPEED mode the red light
gleams.
The condition of the battery is
indicated by 3 green lights.
