WARNING
•
Never impact on the air bag in-
stallations by hands or tools.
You could be injured by abrupt in-
flation.
•
Air bag components will be very
hot after the deployment. Do not
touch them.
•
Do not place any objects on the air
bag inflation portion. You may be
injured by those objects during
deployment.
•
The infants, children, pregnant
and old should be seated in the
rear seats.
•
You could suffer secondary inju-
ries caused by inflated air bag
such as an abrasion, a burn and
injuries by broken glasses.
•
Non-toxic gas will come out when
the air bag is inflated and your
skin, eyes and nose could be
troubled by this gas, if so, wash it
out with cold and clean water. If
trouble continues, see your doctor.
WARNING
•
The air bag is made by nylon, so
you can get light injuries like
abrasion or burn during airbag
inflation.
•
Never alter or modify the air bag
and seat belt pretensioner related
components.
•
During service, the correct service
procedures or cautions should be
observed, or the air bag and seat
belt pretensioner will be defective
or can cause even death.
•
There are explosive materials in
the air bag and seat belt pretensioner,
so contact Ssangyong Dealer or
Ssangyong Authorized Service
Operation when scrap the vehicle.
•
When the airbag is inflated, the
relevant components will be very
hot, so do not touch them until
cool down to prevent burning.
•
Take a proper postures on the seat.

Never attempt to disassemble, as-
semble or repair the air bag sys-
tem in other than Ssangyong
Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized
Service Operation.
•
Never modify or change the steer-
ing wheel with other non-genuine
parts.
•
If the air bag warning light in the
instrument panel stays ON, there
could be defectives in the system,
check and repair from Ssangyong
Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized
Service Operation.
•
The air bag system should be in-
spected after 10th year from its
installation regardless of its ap-
pearance and other conditions.
