hicle that is being towed.

Never tow a vehicle faster than
safe or posted speeds.
•
Never tow a vehicle with damaged
parts that are not fully secured on
the vehicle.
Failure to observe these precautions
can result in personal injury.
TOWING A DISABLED VEHICLE
Using a car carrier
If it is necessary to tow your vehicle,
contact a Ssangyong dealer or a profes-
sional tow truck service.
Using a towing dolly
If not available to use car acrrier, use a
towing dolly.
Using a lifting type towing car
If not available to use car carrier or towing
dolly, use a lifting type towing.
According to the vehicle’s condition, select
a proper way.
However, the propeller shaft for the
grounded wheels should be disconnected
before towing.
WARNING
•
To tow the vehicle with the front/
rear wheels on the ground, never
forget to disconnect the front/rear
propeller shaft from the transfer
case or axle assembly and secure
them in safe position.
•
Selector lever should be in neutral
position.
•
Remove the skid panel when lift-
ing the front part of the vehicle.
•
Set the vehicle in 2WD mode for
part-time 4WD vehicle when lifting
the rear part of the vehicle.
