FINDING DEFECTIVES WHILE
DRIVING
1. Turn on the hazard warning lamps and
stop the vehicle to safe place.
2. Set up the warning triangle behind the
vehicle with sufficient safety distance.
3. After checking the vehicle, if there are
defectives in your vehicle, have your
vehivle checked and repair from
Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong Au-
thorized Service Operation.
COMING ON OIL PRESSURE
WARNING LIGHT WHILE DRIVING
Stop the vehicle to safe and level place as
soon as possible and turn off the engine.
Check the engine oil levcel as follows.
1. Turn off the engine and wait for approx.
5 minutes.
2. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean,
reinsert and pull it out again to check the
oil level.
3. If the oil level is low, add engine oil to
the specified level.
4. Start the engine and check the warning
light still come on. If the warning light still
come on, contact Ssangyong Dealer or
Ssangyong Authorized Service Opera-
tion for the service.
CAUTION
•
If the oil level is normal, contact
Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong
Authorized Service Opera-tion for
the service.

If the oil level is low, check for oil
leaks. If oil leaks, contact Ssangyong
Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized
Service Opera-tion for the service.
WARNING
If you drive on while the oil pressure
warning light is coming on, the en-
gine could be stick or relevant com-
ponents could be damaged.
