8.3 Angle check
Checking the 90° angle
1. Mark pointA on the floor at a distance of
10m (32'10") in a sufficiently large corner
of the room.
2. Align the LAX600/LAX600G with pointA
using the plumb-line dot.
3. Align the LAX600/LAX600G with the one
wall using a laser line.
4. Precisely mark pointB on the floor at the
halfway point.
5. Precisely mark pointC on the wall or floor.
6. Shift the LAX600/LAX600G and align with
pointB using the plumb-line dot.
7. Align the LAX600/LAX600G with pointC
again using the laser line.
8. Precisely mark pointD on the other wall or
on the floor using the 90° laser line.
Note:
The distance from AtoB, BtoC and BtoD
should be the same to guarantee accuracy.
9. Turn the LAX600/LAX600G through 90°
and align the first laser line with pointD.
10. Mark positionE on the perpendicular second
laser line as close as possible to pointA.
11. Measure the distance between points AtoE.
