BATTERY INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT
Record the serial number from the tag on the back of
the safe or the tag on the inside of the lock cover plate
on the front of the safe. Record your combination
number.
Keep keys and combination in a secure place away
from children.
DO NOT STORE KEYS OR YOUR COMBINATION
INSIDE SAFE
You will need to use the key to open the safe the rst
time in order to install the baeries. At a later time
you may need to open the safe with the key if your
baeries run down or if you forget your
combination.
Remove the lock cover plate. Insert the key and
turn counterclockwise. Push down the latch and the
door will spring open. (Figure 1)
When you open the safe door for the rst time you
will need to install the baeries.
is safe uses 4 - 1.5V, AA alkaline baeries
(included). Under normal use, baeries will last
about 1 year. When the baeries are low, the red
light will come on warning you that the baeries are
low. To test the baeries, enter your security code. If
the baeries are low the red light will start to ash.
e baery compartment is located on the back of
the door. Remove the cover and install all new
baeries.

Storing your Key # or Combination will provide
instant access to this important information
should you ever lose your keys or your
combination.
Only you will have access to this information.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new baeries. Do not
mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable baeries.

10 mm Wrench
3/16” (5 mm) drill bit for drilling into wood
Hardware Included:
(4) M6 x 20 mm (3/4” long) Screws
(4) Washers

combination aer you change baeries.
