RPM signal wire C type (Accessory 4)
The external power connection instruction
C
The C type RPM wire is for fuel injection model only. Before
installing, please make sure the signal voltage peak of the coil
range is between 15V-24V. If the signal voltage is lower than
15V, maybe the meter can‘t read the RPM signal. On the
opposite side, if the voltage is higher than 24V, there is a risk
that the meter could break due to the high voltage. In this case,
please make sure the signal voltage range before it.
Black/ground wire. Connect to

Installation of the RPM Wire
A: Please wrap the RPM wire at least 10 times around the
spark plug.
B: For models with new ignition coil, please wrap the RPM
wire at least 5 times around the spark plug (as shown right).

Metal clip
CR2032 battery
Open the battery cover and remove the battery
using a slotted screwdriver.
Please be sure to use the proper tool
when removing the battery in order to
avoid damaging the clip.

2.1 Replacing the
Battery
This type of RPM wire is intended only for fuel injection models. Before
installation, please make sure that the signal voltage peak of the coil
range is between 15–24 V. If the signal voltage is below 15 V, the instru-
ment may not be able to read the RPM signal. Attention: Voltages
higher than 24 V may damage the instrument!

Installation of the RPM Wire
