12-pitch),or is setat 1/10inchforproportionalspacedtext.Oncemargins
areset,changingthepitchdocsnotaffectmargins.

How to center orjustify text
If your text processorwon’t center or line up text for you, your Star
LaserPnntcr8 candothejob. Yusrifiedtextprintsflushagainstoncorboth
sidemarginson boththerightandleft sidesof thepage.
You turn on the centeringor justification of text with the following
command:

Backspaceandhorizontaltabswillonlyworkin left-justificationmode.
Line spacing
EX-800emulationoffersfivedifferentwaysto verticallyspacelines.The
defaultis 6 lines to the inch,but you can changeline spacingwith the
commandsin the followingtable. (In the first four of these commands,
rememberthatthenumberfollowingthe<ESC>codeisa realnumber,not
theASCIIsymbolforO,1,2 or 3.)
