Bluetooth Auto Connection (iOS only): When enabled, the printer automatically connects to the previously connected iOS host upon power-on, eliminating the need to manually tap the printer name on the iOS Bluetooth settings screen. This function is only available when the Communication mode is set to iOS mode [Bluetooth(iAP)]. Auto Power Down (Sleep) Mode: The printer recovers to Print Ready Mode upon receiving commands or button operations. However, print data received during the 1-second transition from Sleep Mode to Print Ready Mode is discarded. In iOS mode [Bluetooth(iAP)], the Auto sleep function should be set to "NO USE" or Auto OFF mode as the iOS device requires the printer to be turned on again when waking from sleep. Magnetic Card Reader (MSR): Swipe cards with the magnetic stripe side towards the printer, holding the card in the center for optimal reading. A single buzzer sound indicates a successful read; three sounds indicate a failed read. Belt Clip: A standard accessory that can be attached to the printer for hands-free carrying. When using the printer with the belt clip, hold the printer firmly when swiping a magnetic stripe card or cutting paper to ensure proper function.

Maintenance Features

General Maintenance: Recommended every 6 months.

  • Thermal Head: Clean the heating area with a cotton swab dipped in an alcohol solvent (ethanol, methanol, or isopropyl alcohol). Avoid touching the heating element with bare hands or metal objects to prevent damage and maintain print quality.
  • Platen: While turning the platen, use a soft, dry cloth to lightly rub its entire surface and remove any foreign objects.
  • Paper Storage Unit: Remove any dirt, dust, or paper pieces from the paper storage unit and surrounding area. Battery Pack Handling:
  • Charging: Charge the battery pack at ambient temperatures between 0 and 40°C. Full charge typically takes 4 to 5 hours. Avoid removing the battery pack during charging. Fully charge the battery before initial use. Do not recharge a battery pack that has just been fully charged.
  • Life Cycle: The battery can be charged approximately 500 times before performance degradation. Replace old batteries when a significant decline in running time is observed.
  • Storage: Store the battery pack in a cool, dry, dark location (recommended 15 to 25 °C). If storing for a long period, discharge the battery before storage and remove it from the printer. Avoid storing in high or extremely low temperatures.
  • Safety: Use only designated battery packs and charging methods. Do not throw batteries into fire, expose them to high heat, disassemble, modify, short-circuit terminals, or get them wet. If battery fluid contacts skin or clothing, wash immediately with fresh water. Thermal Paper Handling:
  • Paper Type: Use only thermal paper with designated specifications. Using other paper types may reduce print quality and thermal head life, especially paper containing [Na+, K+, Cl-].
  • Storage: Store thermal paper in a cool, dry, dark location.
  • Avoid Damage: Do not rub thermal paper with hard objects. Avoid prolonged contact with plastic film, erasers, or adhesive tape. Do not stack on fresh diazo copies or wet-type copies. Do not use chemical glue on thermal paper. Avoid using thermal paper that has been stored for a long period.
