Sending and ending raster graphics
Graphicsprintingis independentof textmarginboundaries,includingthe
perforationskipregion.Itisbnlylimitedby theprintableareaandthepage
length.
Totransferraslergraphicsyousendthiscommandatthebeginningofeach
lineof rasterdata:

Forn youenterthenumberof bytesofgraphicsdatato followon thisline.
ThedatamustfollowimmediatelyaftertheWin thiscommand.
Databytesarcinterpretedasonclineofrastergraphicsdata(onedatarow).
Eachbyteismadeupof eightbits.Thebitsof rastergraphicsdata(1‘sand
O’s)yousendto theprinterdescribesingledotstobe printed:a 1indicates
youwanta dotprinted,anda Oindicatesyoudo notwanta dotprinted.
Usethe followingcommandto cnd rastergraphics:

Afterendinggraphicsyoucan thensendtextto mergewithit.

Patternsandlinesareeaseto do.
Print shopscall lines of any thicknessrules. A printedline in fact is a
rectangularareawithone“skinny”dimension,fromonctomanydotsthick.
Wewillusctheword“IUICS”too,to avoidconfusionwiththelinesusedto
measurepages.
Youfollowthesethreestepswhenyouuse ruleandpatterngraphics:
1) Definethedimensionsyouneed.
2) Choosethe graphicspatternyou wantto till in thosedimen-
sions.
3) Printthepattcm.
