OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Automatic OFF

The caliper display turns off after 30 minutes of inactivity and can be reactivated by movement or button press.

In/mm Button

Allows switching between inch and millimeter modes or acts as a send button when output is connected.

Zero On/Off Button

Activates display, zeros the tool, or shuts off the display with different press durations.

Output (798B only)

798B models support data transmission via cable or wireless interface.

Low Battery Indication

A battery symbol indicates low battery, requiring replacement as per instructions.

SPECIFICATIONS

Dust/ Water Protection

IP67 rating indicates complete protection against dust and submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Ranges

Calipers are available in 6" (150mm), 8" (200mm), and 12" (300mm) measurement ranges.

Resolution

The measurement resolution is 0.0005 inches or 0.01mm.

Accuracy

Accuracy specifications are ±0.001"/0.02mm (≤4") and ±0.001"/0.03mm (>4"), meeting DIN 862.
