  If your Steamfast Steam Cleaner fails to heat up and the red power indicator light does not illuminate, first, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into the electrical outlet. Next, check if the unit’s main power is on by pressing the On/Off switch until it clicks. Also, verify that your household circuit breaker/ground fault interrupter hasn't tripped, or a fuse blown; reset the breaker/interrupter or replace the fuse if necessary. If problems persist, stop using the appliance and unplug it, because it might be damaged.

Why is the steam output weak on my Steamfast SF-142?

  If the steam output from your Steamfast Steam Cleaner is weak or intermittent, it could be due to a low water level in the boiler. Refill the boiler. Another possible cause is mineral build-up in the unit, so you should clean it.

  If your Steamfast Steam Cleaner leaves excessive moisture on the floor during mopping, it might be because the microfiber pad has become saturated; replace it with a fresh, dry one. Also, the boiler might be overfilled; drain some water out of the boiler, and always use the included measuring cup to fill it with the correct amount of water.
