4. Using a 1/8” Allen wrench, remove the shoulder screw
that retains the lock mechanism cover and attached
mechanism components. Discard these items.
5. Using ratchet, 7/16” socket and wrench, remove and
save the two (2) 1/4-20 bolts and nuts securing the brake
latch actuator to the foot control bar. Discard the brake
latch actuator.
6. Using ratchet and 7/16” socket, remove the two (2) 1/4-20
bolts securing the right foot pedal
to the foot control bar (6a).
Remove the right foot pedal and remove the left foot pedal
and bar assembly (6b). Save these items for reassembly.
7. Using ratchet, 7/16” socket and wrench, remove and
save the two (2) 1/4-20 bolts and nuts securing the
brake
mechanism mounting plate. Discard mounting plate.
NOTE: Some detail
