15. Install the left hand lock guide onto the top of the mechanism
cover plate, as shown, making sure it is fully seated
.
16. Align the actuator spring, as shown (16a). Slide the spring
over the outside of the housing on the rear mounting hole of the
lock guide (16b). Make sure the rear arm of the spring is routed
inside the cover plate.

With the actuator spring on the mounting hole housing, load
the actuator spring by placing the opposite free end of the spring
through the notch in the cover plate.
18. Align the assembled mechanism cover plate over the mounting
holes in the mounting plate. Make sure that the left guide pin on the
brake toggle actuator is engaged in the track in the left hand lock guide.
Secure the mechanism cover plate to the mounting plate with the supplied
1/4-20 bolts and nuts.

Refer to page 2 and reverse disassembly steps 1-3 to reassemble
remaining components and complete the replacement procedure.
