WARNING Injury
If there is a radio or police announcement ordering win-
dows and doors to be kept closed, simply select fan stage
"0" (= fan off) for several hours.
The programming unit must be activated if the appliance
has been out of operation for a long time:
f Hold down MENU for five seconds.
f If you have already navigated through the menu
tree, pressing MENU will return you to the default
display. If necessary you may have to press menu
several times.
f Slide your finger along the scroll wheel until you
reach the FAN STAGES entry.
f Press OK.
f Press OK again to adjust the parameter UNSCHED-
ULED VENT.
f Set parameter UNSCHEDULED VENT. to 0, by slid-
ing your finger anti-clockwise over the scroll wheel.
f Confirm with OK.
f Set parameter UNSCHED. VENT TIME 0 to a suit-
able value.
4.9.3 HOTTER / COLDER
Here, you can change the set room temperatures for the heating
circuits and thereby raise or lower the heating curves.
4.9.4 DIRECT LINE
If you know the number of the required parameter (for example
P37), you can move straight there with the direct line.
f On the default screen, turn the scroll wheel until keyword
DI-
RECT LINE
appears. Confirm with OK. Now select the num-
ber of the required parameter and confirm with OK.
You can select parameters 01 to 89. To make the direct line easier
to use, the parameter designations are displayed along with their
numbers.
4.9.5 FUNCTION BLOCK
The programming unit will be blocked for 60 seconds if you select
the
FUNCTION BLOCK function. During this time, you can clean
the programming unit without accidentally changing the appliance
settings. A counter appears on the screen that shows the remain-
ing blocking time in seconds.
4.10 Fault message
If the appliance registers a fault, this is clearly displayed with the
message shown below.

If more than one fault occurs, the most recent fault is always
shown. Please inform your contractor.
To see the usual default display, first enable the programming
unit by pressing "MENU" for 5seconds. The fault message is then
extended with a note requesting that you acknowledge the fault
by pressing OK for five seconds.

For qualified contractors, chapter "Fault messages" in the instal-
lation instructions provides an overview of possible faults.
4.10.1 Fault memory
[CONTRACTOR/FAULT SEARCH/FAULT MEMORY] The fault memory
is also accessible to you as a customer. There, you receive an
overview of the faults most recently registered by the appliance.
The fault memory contains the ten most recent fault messages.
However, only six can be displayed at a time on the display (see
diagram below). Turn the scroll wheel to access the other entries
in the fault memory.
