REFUELLING
DANGER!
Never smoke whilst refuel-
ling and avoid inhaling the petrol fumes.
WARNING!
Carefully open the tank
top as pressure could have formed inside.

 

WARNING!
Always close the fuel tank
cap rmly.
WARNING!
Immediately clean all tra-
ces of fuel which may have dripped on the
machine or the ground and do not start the
engine until the petrol fumes have dissipat-
ed.

       


WARNING!
If the machine is not held
rmly, the force of the engine could cause
the user to lose his balance or direct the bar
towards him or an obstacle.
STARTING THE ENGINE
WARNING!
The engine must be start-
ed in an area at least 3 metres from where
you relled the fuel tank.

 
 
 

Cold starting
NOTE
A “cold” start of the engine
means starting it after at least 5 minutes from
when it was switched o or after refuelling.

CHAIN LUBRICANT
IMPORTANT
Only use special oil for
chain saws or adhesive oil for chain saws. Do not
use oil containing impurities so as not to block the
oil lter and to prevent irreparable damage to the
oil pump.
IMPORTANT
The special oil for lubricat-
ing the chain is biodegradable. Use of a mineral
oil or engine oil causes serious damage to the
environment.
