Deactivated.
 The  power  take-off  must  never be activated
when the front attachment is in the work/maintenance position.
This would damage the belt transmission.

The levers allow the machine to be moved manually (push 
or pull), without starting the engine.
Transmission engaged (8:A2).
Transmission  released  (8:A1).  the 
machine can be moved by hand.
 The release lever must never be between the
outer and inner position. This condition will cause overheating
and damage the transmission.

5.1. 

 The machine is supplied without engine oil
or fuel.
Check if there is fuel and check the oil level before using the 
machine. For methods  and  precautions  on  refuelling  and 
topping up oil, follow the instructions in the engine handbook.

See gure 9.
The  seat  is  reclining  and  can  be  locked  in 
an  upward  reclined  position using  the  stop
(Fig. 9.B).
To adjust the seat:
1. Loosen the screws (9:A).
2. Move the seat to the required position:can be moved 
forwards and backwards
3. Tighten the screws (9:A).

Unscrew the adjustment handle from the steering wheel to 
lift or lower it into the desired position.Tighten.

Manual adjustment - mod. V 302 (6:H):
Electric adjustment - mod. V 302 S (7:C)
The switch allows continuous adjustment ofthe 
cutting height.
The cutting means assembly isconnected tothe socket
(7:G).
Tyre pressure
For tyre pressure see "0 TABLE OF TECHNICAL DATA".

NOTE This machine can be used to mow lawns in a number
of different ways; before starting, prepare the machine based on
how the lawn is to be mowed.
5.2. 

 Result
Battery. No damage to the casing, 
cover or terminals.
Fuel lines and 
connections.
No leaks.
Electrical cables. All insulation intact. 
No mechanical damage.
Oil lines. No leaks. 
No damage.
Operate the machine
with a forwards/reverse
movement and release 
the drive pedal.
The machine slows 
down and stops.
Test driving. No abnormal vibrations.
No abnormal sound.
Safety devices. They operate as described 
in the next paragraph.

