What to do if my Stihl FS 511 C-M engine does not start?

If your Stihl Trimmer engine won't start, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that the fuel tank has an adequate fuel mix; if not, refuel the trimmer. Another reason could be that the engine is flooded, in which case you should vent the combustion chamber. If the carburetor is too hot, allow the trimmer to cool down and depress the manual fuel pump at least 10 times before attempting to start the engine. Finally, the carburetor may have iced up, so allow the trimmer to warm up to +10°C.
