  Your Stihl Trimmer engine might not start due to several reasons. It could be that there is insufficient fuel in the fuel tank, in which case you should refuel. Another possibility is that the carburetor is too hot; if this is the case, cool down the trimmer and press the manual fuel pump bulb at least ten times before starting, even if the bulb is already filled with fuel. Also, the carburetor may be iced up, so allow the engine to warm up gradually to a temperature of about 50 °F (10 °C).
