  If the LED on the charger glows green but your Stihl Lawn and Garden Equipment battery isn't charging, the battery might be too hot or too cold (1 LED on the battery glows red). Allow the battery to cool down or warm up slowly at temperatures of about 15°C - 20°C (59°F - 68°F). Also, make sure to operate the charger only in closed, dry rooms at ambient temperatures of 5°C - 40°C (40°F - 104°F).

  If the LED on your Stihl Lawn and Garden Equipment charger flashes red, it could indicate a few issues: * There might be no electrical contact between the charger and the battery. Try removing the battery and refitting it. * There could be a malfunction in the battery (4 LEDs on the battery flash red for about 5 seconds). Remove the battery, refit it, and switch on the machine. If the LEDs continue to flash, the battery is faulty and needs replacement.
