 This is where any other observations about the unit not

STIHL Engine Check can be recorded
 Once repairs have 
been made the last 
part of the STIHL 
Engine Check 
document can be used 
as a quality control 
check to be sure the 
engine starts easily 
and is running to 
specification

Final Check: Roll Out Test
 With the engine warmed 
up and idling, and the 
chain brake engaged on 
a saw, slowly roll the 
engine over so one side 
faces the ground
 Now roll it back upright, 
then roll the other side 
towards the ground
 Idle RPM should not 
change more than 200-
300 RPM
 If the idle changes the 
engine may have an air 
leak or other fault
