9 Connecting the pressure washer to the power supply
Connecting the water filter
If operating the pressure washer with sandy water from
water butts, cisterns or running or stagnant bodies of water,
a water filter must be connected in-line between the water
hose and the pressure washer.
Depending on the market, the water filter may be supplied
with the pressure washer.
Unscrew connector (1).
Screw water filter (2) onto connector (3) and tighten hand-
tight.
Connecting the water hose
Fill water hose (1) with water until there is no air left in the
water hose.
Screw coupling (2) onto connector (3) of water filter and
tighten hand-tight.
Suspend the suction cup (4) in the water source so that
the suction cup (4) does not touch the bottom.
If the spray gun is attached to the high-pressure hose:
remove the spray gun.
Hold the high-pressure hose downward.
Switch on pressure washer and run it until an even jet of
water is delivered by the high-pressure hose.
Switch off pressure washer.
Attach spray gun to the high-pressure hose.
Squeeze and hold down spray gun trigger.
Switch on pressure washer.
9.1 Connecting the pressure washer to the power
supply
Turn rotary switch (1) to the 0 position.
Open the flap (2).
Swivel bracket (3) downward.
Remove connecting cord (4).
