  If the motor hums but doesn't run, several factors could be at play. First, the mains voltage might be too low or improper, so check the electrical connection, plug, cable, and switch. An extension cord with the wrong cross-section or excessive length could also be the culprit; use a shorter, appropriately sized cord or connect directly. The mains circuit-breaker might have tripped; in this case, switch off the machine, actuate the spray gun until only water drips out, engage the safety catch, and reset the breaker. Finally, make sure to actuate the spray gun when switching on the machine.

  Pressure fluctuations or drops can occur for several reasons. Ensure there's no shortage of water by fully opening the water tap and complying with the permissible suction lift if using suction mode. Check for and clean any dirt from the high-pressure nozzle in the spray head, the water intake strainer in the pump inflow, or the nozzle itself. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the high-pressure pump may be leaky, or the valves may be defective.
