Remove the cap from the valve (1). Inflate 
the tyres to the following tyre pressures 
using a suitable air pump with pressure 
gauge:
Front tyres: 0.8 – 1.0 bar
Rear tyres: 0.6 – 0.8 bar
15.17 Lubrication
Lubricate the two front steering knuckles 
via the two grease nipples on the front 
axle.
Lubricating:
● Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a 
safe place.
● Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
● Unload the front axle by supporting 
(lifting) it. (Ö 15.15)
Using a grease gun (not included in 
standard equipment), inject grease on 
both sides via grease nipples (1) until 
small amounts of grease escape from the 
steering knuckles.
● Remove escaping lubricating grease.
● Remove support for the front axle.
15.18 Opening and closing the battery 
compartment
● Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
● Engage the parking brake.(Ö 8.14)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a 
safe place.
● Remove the grass catcher box. 
(Ö 13.10)
Opening the battery compartment:
Unscrew the retaining nut (1) and remove 
the battery compartment cover (2) 
forwards.
Closing the battery compartment:
Position the battery compartment 
cover (1) as shown and fasten using the 
retaining nut (2).
Note
Before lubricating, the front axle 
must be unloaded by supporting 
appropriately.
The grease nipple must be cleaned 
before lubricating, so that no dirt 
enters the steering knuckle.
Escaping grease should always be 
removed (wiped off) after 
lubricating.
Use commercially available 
lubricating grease.
