Installing
– Coat the connector with STIHL
press fluid, b 13
: Line up the connector (1) with
fuel hoses and push it into the
bore until the tab engages the
recess (arrow) and locates
against the housing.
: Fit the fuel hoses (1) in the
guide (arrow).

– Position the fuel tank (1) so that
the holes (arrows) are in
alignment.
: Fit and tighten down the
screws (2) firmly.
: Position the fuel hoses (1) kink-
free on the fuel tank.
– Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.

9.12.1 Fuel Tank Cap
See instruction manual.
– Open the tank cap.
: Disconnect the tank cap cord's
nipple from the slot (arrow) inside
the tank.
– Inspect the tank cap. Install new
sealing ring or tank cap if
necessary.
– Reassemble in the reverse
sequence.
–Check for leaks.
