: Place the cut-off machine on the
ground, make sure you have a firm
footing and ensure that the abrasive
wheel cannot touch any objects or
the ground.
There must not be anyone within the
swivel range of the cut-off machine.
: Press the cut-off machine firmly
against the ground, holding with the
left hand, thumb wrapped round the
handle.
: Place your right foot through the
rear handle.
With your right hand,
: slowly pull out the starter handle as
far as the stop,
then pull it through quickly and
strongly. Do not pull the rope out
completely –
it may break!
Do not let the starter grip snap back.
Guide it back into the housing in the
opposite direction so that it can
rewind properly.
When the engine has turned over for
the first time:
: Set choke lever (4) to o
before each further attempt to start
the engine, press the button of the
decompression valve again and
continue cranking.
When engine is running
: squeeze throttle trigger fully and let
engine run at full throttle for approx.
30 seconds -
when it has warmed up
: set the choke lever to e .
: The slide control (3) moves to the
normal position when the throttle
trigger is squeezed.
If the carburetor has been set
correctly, the abrasive wheel should
not rotate when the engine is idling.
The cut-off machine is now ready for
use.
