not store them directly on the floor
– Due to the fire risk, store batteries outside
buildings
– Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area
– Never subject the battery to temperatures
below -35°C and above 80°C.
Long-term storage below -10°C or above 50°C
has a negative impact on the service life of the
battery.
– After three months, check the charge state
of the battery and recharge if necessary
– Cordon off the relevant area of the ware-
house
– Only persons who are aware of the risks
and safety regulations may access this area
– Protect against direct sunlight
– Protect against precipitation
– Store in a way that protects the batteries
against short circuits
– Store batteries at a safe distance from flam-
mable materials
– Do not store batteries together with metallic
objects
– Store lithium-ion batteries separately from
other types of batteries (no mixed storage)
– Maintain a safety margin of at least 2.5 m
from other goods
– To avoid a deep discharge, observe the
specifications of the battery manufacturer
regarding the maximum permissible storage
period
