Battery weight and dimensions

Risk of tipping due to change in battery weight!
The battery weight and dimensions affect the stability
of the truck. When replacing the battery, the weight
ratios must not be changed. The battery weight must
remain within the weight range specified on the
nameplate.
Do not remove or change the position of
ballast weights.
Observe the battery weight.
General safety regulations for lithium-
ion batteries
The following safety regulations generally ap-
ply to operating lithium-ion batteries.
Comply with the specifications stated in the
safety data sheets of the battery manufac-
turer.
Protect the battery against mechanical
damage to prevent internal short circuits.
If batteries have even the slightest external
damage, dispose of them in accordance
with national regulations for the country in
which they are being used.
Do not expose batteries directly to continu-
ously high temperatures or heat sources,
such as direct sunlight.
Train employees in how to handle lithium-
ion batteries correctly.
Approved lithium-ion batteries

Risk of tipping if the truck is operated with an incor-
rect battery
Installation of an incorrect battery reduces the stabili-
ty of the truck.
The batteries approved for this truck vary in terms of
their size, weight and capacity.
The truck may only be operated with a battery that is
approved for its battery tray.
