Environment
Follow regulations issued by the local environmental
protection authority.
Do not dispose of discharged batteries in ordinary
household waste, in water, or in an open fire.
Drain the operating table of hydraulic oil before
sending it for recycling.
Operating conditions
Temperature: +10°C to +40°C (50°F to 104°F).
Humidity: 30% - 75%.
Atmospheric pressure 700hPa - 1060hPa

Storage maintenance
The batteries must be charged at regular intervals in
order to maintain their capacity. Intervals depend on
storage temperature, see table below as guideline,
provided that the batteries are fully charged and that
the Quick shut-off is switched off when table is put
into storage.

Essential performance of the table is the Trendelenburg
function. The function can be activated by the use of
the hand control and can manually be achieved as an
emergency function in cases of power failure.
- The Type B Applied Part is the mattresses.
- The definition Technical Lifetime is the same as
Expected Service Life 10 years.
- The technical life time for the batteries if well main-
tained and charged regularly is 3 years.
- The technical lifetime for the mattress is 3 years.
- The definition Maximum patient weight page is teh
same as Maximum Safe work load.
- The Maximum safe work load is the maximum weight
of the patient including attached accessories.
- Battery type: 24V DC Lead acid battery
- Battery recycling: Follow the environmental autho
rity instructions carefully.
Replacing the battery
Battery recycling: Lead Acid Batteries are to be recy-
cled at a Battery recycling facilities, check local laws
and regulations. All components of the Battery can be
recycled and/or recovered.
Lead Acid Batteries are considered as especially super-
visable waste (EWC 160601). They are labeled with
the recycling/return symbol and a crossed out rubbish
bin.
Lead Acid Batteries must not be mixed with other Bat-
teries in order not to complicate the recycling/reco-
very process.
Emptying the Electrolyte may only be done by those
persons who process the recycling/recovery. Always
follow local laws and regulation for disposal of the bat-
teries.
