SECTION 2 - SERVICING PASSENGER STAIRWAY
A-frame attaching point.
2. Lift stairway assembly from supports and back chassis into position
beneath stairway.
3. Align lower attaching shaft brackets on stairway with mating holes
in stairs frame on chassis. Align lower end of stairway extend
cylinder with these holes.
4. Install attaching shaft through holes in frame, stairs and stairway
cylinder.
5. Tighten set screws on shaft lock collars and install roll pins at ends
of shaft. Lubricate shaft ttings at this time.
6. Using hoist, lower front end of stairway assembly and align A-frame
brackets and mating brackets on lower stairway section.
7. Install A-frame mounting pins. Tighten set screws on A-frame pin
lock collars and install roll pins. Lubricate pins at this time.
8. Remove lift chain from stairs.
9. Reconnect hydraulic lines to stairway cylinders.
10. Reinstall left and right upper section side panels as follows:
Slide the top angle of each side panel into the guide rollers and
align the panel with the top mounting bracket.
Install the three (3) bolts into the top support bracket.
11. Reconnect electrical harnessing to stairway lights.
