Inserting the needle (fig.

ATTENTION!
Switch
off
machine electrically and
confirm
that
the
machine is really in
standstill
position
by
operating
the
treadle
for
the
motor
control
before changing
the
needle.
Otherwise
danger
of
finger
bruises and needle
throughstitches.
Introduce
the
needle
with
its
horizontal
groove
pointing
downwards,
push
it
to
the
rear
until
it
strikes against needle
stop

is guided
through

eye
of
