2 Tools needed:
- 1 flat screwdriver
- 1 Allen key n° 3 and 4
- 1 8mm open-end spanner
- 1 Adjustable locking wrench
- 1 socket-head screwdriver with
7mm and 8mm sockets
- 1 spatula
Replacing refractors
3 Open door using cold handgrip.
4 & 5 Remove steel rod supporting
horizontal vermiculite refractors.
It just needs pushing out of its
notches. Remove horizontal
vermiculite refractors (4C)
Then vertically remove smoke
deflector (4D &5).
Then remove horizontal refractors
from back of stove.
Smoke deflector must be removed at
least every other year to avoid soot
clogging flue pipe.
6 Re-assembly sequence:
- vertical refractors (4B)
- horizontal refractors at back of stove (4A)
- smoke deflector (5)
- horizontal vermiculite refractors (4C)
- steel rod
