Plus de 2 coudes:
Le ratio entre une longueur verticale et la longueur
horizontale suivante doit être au maximum de 1 pour 2,
afin d’éviter tout problème de tirage. .
Mais à partir du deuxième coude vertical( D), chaque
coude à 45° équivaut à 18’’ de longueur horizontale et
chaque coude de 90° équivaut à 3’.
Attention : ne pas additionner les longueurs verticales
et horizontales pour vérifier le ratio, la vérification doit se
faire portion par portion (une portion = une suite d’une
verticale et d’une horozontale).
Dans l’exemple ci-dessus:
+ première portion : la verticale de 3’(A) nous
donne la possibilité d’une horizontale de 6’ (C)
+ seconde portion : la verticale de 6’ (E) nous donne
normallement la possibilité d’une horizontale
suivante de 12’. Mais nous devons en soustraire
l’équivalent de 2 coudes à 90° (D+F=6’), ce qui
fait 12’-6’=6’ (G).

More elbows situation:
The relation between one vertical length and the
following horizontal length have a ratio of 1 to 2 as to
avoid any exhaust problems.
But starting the second vertical elbow (D), each 45°
vertical elbow is equivalent to 18’’ of horizontal lenght,
and each 90° vertical elbow is equivalent to 3’.
Be careful: do not sum vertical and horizontal lenghts, to
check the ratio, do it portion by portion (one portion : one
vertical followed by one horizontal).
In the example above:
+ first portion: the first 3’ of vertical conduct (A)
gives us the possibility to have a 6’ long horizontal
conduct (C)
+ second portion: 6’ of vertical conduct (E) gives
us normally the possibility to have another 12’
of horizontal conduct. But we must subtract the
equivalent of two 90° elbows (D+F=6’) which
makes 12’-6’=6’ (G).
