User Interface Panel (UIP) Board
(All Models)
To remove the UIP board, first remove the control panel
from the unit, then (See Figure 3-12):
1. Remove side ribbon cable from the connector on
UIP board by prying up on the dark brown tab at the
center right with a flat bladed watch screw driver
(See Figure 3-13).
2. Disconnect two pin connector from UIP board.
3. On Professional models disconnect encoder wire
connector.
4. Flex retaining tab and remove UIP board.
5. Remove lower ribbon cable from the connector on
UIP board by turning the UIP board over then prying
up on the dark brown tab at the bottom right with a
flat bladed watch screw driver (See Figure 3-14).
