Motorized Door Lock (MDL) Cover (Single
and Upper Ovens)
To remove the MDL cover, first remove the control
panel, then (See Figure 3-18):
1. Use a 1/4” nut driver or T-20 to extract screws
from MDL cover.
2. Remove MDL cover.
MDL (Single and Upper Oven)
To remove the MDL, first remove the MDL cover, then
(See Figure 3-19):
1. Use a 1/4” nut driver or T-20 to extract screws
from MDL.
2. Remove MDL from unit.
3. Disconnect wires from MDL motor.
4. Disconnect wires from MDL Micro Switches.
MDL (Lower Oven)
To remove the MDL, first remove the mid panel vent
and mid-vent, then (See Figure 3-19):
1. Use a 1/4” nut driver or T-20 to extract screws
from MDL.
2. Remove MDL from unit.
3. Disconnect wires from MDL motor.
4. Disconnect wires from MDL Micro Switches.
MDL Micro Switch Wiring (All Models)
NOTE: Unlocked and locked Micro Switches have dif-
ferent sized spade terminals.
1. Connect white wires to common terminals (See
Figure 3-20).
2. Connect black wire to locked Micro Switch.
3. Connect red wire to unlocked Micro Switch.
4. Connect wires to motor spade terminals.
