- Fig.4), IT IS FORBIDDEN TO CHARGE THE BATTERY WHEN IT IS CONNECTED
TO THE ENGINE: THERE ARE RISK OF SERIOUS DAMAGE OR DEATH.
To recharge the battery, remove the battery (14) from the Scooter (fig. 3), put it in a safe place away from people
and flammable objects, unscrew the cap of the charging connector (24) (fig. 4), connect the socket battery charger
power supply to the mains and connect the charging connector (26) to the battery charger (see Battery charger user
manual). At the end of charging, disconnect the battery charger and screw the cap (24) of the connector (26) back
on. Insert the battery into the scooter only if you intend to use it.
10.4. BATTERY GAUGE DISCLAIMER
When the ON / OFF switch is in the ON position, a control of the scooter's electronics is activated and the LEDs
relating to the charge indicator light up in various sequences.
To view the state of battery charge, activate the Scooter trigger, after a few seconds from switching on, the lit LEDs
will be displayed: the charge level varies according to the quantity of lit LEDs.
For example with Li ION Battery:
9 LEDs on: battery charge from 90% to 100%
8 LEDs on: battery charge from 80% to 90%
7 LEDs on: battery charge between 70% and 80% and so on ...
