USING THE INFANT CARRIER ON AN AIRCRAFT
The FAA recommends that children up
to 40 pounds (18 kg) use a certied,
harnessed child seat while traveling on
an airplane. The Afrm™335 is certied
for airplane use only WITHOUT the base.
DO NOT install in an aircraft seat that is
equipped with an inatable seat belt.
BEFORE installing carrier, refer to the
Securing Your Child in the Infant Carrier
section to secure your child in the carrier,
pg 40-43.
MAKE SURE the airline seat is in the fully
upright position.
Position infant carrier rear-facing in
aircraft seat with the foot end rmly
against the back of the aircraft seat.
