Route the LATCH belt through the BLUE belt guides on both sides of the base. MAKE SURE
not to twist the belt and make sure it lies at.
Adjust the recline foot to achieve correct angle, see p. 77.
Push base against vehicle seat back. Attach both LATCH Connectors to the lower LATCH
anchors. CHECK to make sure they are attached to vehicle anchors on both sides of the
base by pulling on the LATCH.
Pull on the LATCH strap to take the slack out, just enough to make it snug but DO NOT
OVER-TIGHTEN! The Belt Tensioning Arm will fully tighten the system.
Close the belt tensioning arm. (If you have difculty closing the arm, the LATCH belt may be
too tight. Open the arm, loosen LATCH belt slightly and close and lock the arm.)
