Options For Securing Your
Child Restraint
There are two methods for securing your child
restraint:
1. LATCH OR 2. Vehicle Seat Belt
Please consult your vehicle owner’s manual for
information regarding LATCH and your vehicle’s
seat belt systems.
NOTE: Some vehicles do not have LATCH and
some vehicles have multiple types of vehicle seat
belt systems.
LATCH stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers
for CHildren. (NOTE: Only lower anchors are
used with this child restraint. No tether is
needed.)
Most vehicles manufactured after September
2002 are equipped with LATCH.

Vehicle Compatibility
Consult your vehicle owner’s manual to
determine if your vehicle has LATCH.
NOTE: Some vehicle owner’s manuals may
identify LATCH as “ISOFIX”. ISOFIX is the
European term for LATCH and can be used in
the same way as the LATCH.
LATCH is the preferred method of
installation if LATCH is available in your
vehicle.
